PSM Dean Dario Silić recently had the pleasure of meeting Croatian NBA star Ivica Zubac, currently playing as a center for the Indiana Pacers.
Zubac has built an impressive career at the highest level of professional basketball. After beginning his NBA journey with the Los Angeles Lakers, he went on to establish himself as a key player for the Los Angeles Clippers, before the latest chapter of his career with Indiana.
During their meeting, Dean Silić and Ivica discussed the connection between professional sport, education, leadership, and life beyond an athlete’s playing career.
Dean Silić also introduced Zubac to PSM Paris and its educational opportunities for professional athletes and individuals looking to build careers in the global sports industry.
A particular focus was placed on PSM’s Sports Management programs, which combine business and management education with the realities of the sports industry. PSM Paris offers educational pathways in Sports Management at both Bachelor and MBA level, with flexible learning formats particularly relevant for athletes and sports professionals managing demanding schedules.
The Sports Management curriculum connects areas such as strategic management, financial management, sports marketing, event and facility management, public relations, sports law, leadership and entrepreneurship.
