Meet our new advisory board member: Indira Bunic

Paris School of Management (PSM) > News and Knowledge Hub > Meet our new advisory board member: Indira Bunic

She is a globally recognized leader with over 30 years of experience in governance, diplomacy, law enforcement, and corporate leadership. Indira has been recognized as one of the Top 200 Global Inspirational Leaders at the 2024 Dubai Conclave and has earned multiple honors, including being named a Top Voice by Thinkers360.

Firstly, as a new member of the PSM Advisory Board, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to contribute to the school’s mission and vision. The chance to work alongside such talented and dedicated individuals is incredibly exciting, and I am eager to help shape the future of PSM’s programs.

What excites me most about PSM is its commitment to developing leaders who integrate business excellence with ethical integrity, what I call “structure and soul.” This alignment is rare and essential for tomorrow’s leadership challenges.

I contribute at three levels: Strategic vision, helping position PSM as a leader in ethical leadership education; Framework integration, bringing my EmpowerU Leadership™ system and patent-pending EDMC (Ethical Decision-Making Compass) into student experience; Global connection, leveraging 30+ years across six continents to connect students with real-world opportunities.

I’m particularly passionate about creating experiential learning where students practice leadership through decision-making frameworks that prepare them for complex governance challenges. PSM is cultivating leaders who understand that real leadership isn’t about asserting power but awakening possibility, and I’m honored to contribute.

In my role as CEO, I have guided and influenced numerous organizations, and I believe my professional experience will be invaluable in helping to shape the future direction of PSM’s programs.

My background integrates what’s increasingly essential: multidisciplinary expertise across economics, politics, law, diplomacy, international relations, corporate governance, and transformational coaching, combined with empirically validated frameworks that make transformation operational.

I introduce governance innovation through EmpowerU Leadership™, EDMC, academic credibility, global networks, and international recognition.

Most importantly, I bring a philosophy aligned with PSM’s vision: education should transform consciousness, not just transfer knowledge—creating leaders who see what others miss, decide what others avoid, and create sustainable impact.

I look forward to sharing my insights and experiences with the board and the wider community.

One initiative that I am particularly passionate about is strengthening the connection between PSM students and real-world industry challenges and opportunities. I believe this is crucial for preparing students for success in their careers, and I am excited to explore ways to make this connection even stronger.

I recommend initiatives that bridge the “knowing-doing gap”:

The common thread: doing over knowing, transformation over transaction, relationships over networking. Industry connections strengthen when built on shared value creation.

To anyone considering studying at PSM, my advice would be to embrace every opportunity and make the most of your time here. The knowledge and experiences you gain will be invaluable in your future career, and the connections you make will last a lifetime.

Choose PSM not for what you’ll learn, but for who you’ll become. Expect to be challenged personally, not just intellectually. Your education will be integrative (connecting economics with ethics, strategy with sustainability), applied (practicing leadership, not just studying it), and global (developing cross-cultural intelligence).

Before you apply, ask yourself: Am I ready to be transformed, not just educated? Do I want to develop wisdom, not just execute strategy? Can I imagine creating impact that outlasts my career?

If yes, then the PSM is where you belong. You’ll graduate not just knowing more, but being different.

On a personal note, what drew me to PSM was the school’s commitment to excellence and its focus on ethical decision-making. This aligns closely with my own values and the mission of EmpowerU™, and I am honored to be part of this community.

I was drawn to PSM because I recognized an institution that understands business education must evolve beyond technical training to transformational development.

Three factors made this inevitable: Philosophical alignment - PSM integrates structure and soul, ethics and strategy, which I’ve spent 30+ years proving is essential; Strategic timing - we’re at an inflection point where leaders need frameworks that maintain human wisdom while operating at AI speed, which my doctoral research addresses; Personal mission alignment - my life’s work is awakening leadership potential, and education offers the most leveraged impact.

I chose PSM among many advisory board opportunities because I saw an organization that embodies transformation, not just teaches it. As someone recognized globally for transformational leadership methodologies, I joined because the mission matches my soul, and when mission and soul align, transformation becomes inevitable.
