Paris School of Management (PSM) announces that its Dean, Dario Silić, PhD, participated in the panel discussion Transforming Uncertainty into Growth, organized by global broker Marsh in collaboration with the American Chamber of Commerce in Croatia (AmCham).

High-Level Discussion on Global Business Challenges

The event brought together leading executives and industry experts to examine how organizations can navigate increasingly complex global risks and transform uncertainty into sustainable growth opportunities.

Presentation of the Global Risks Report 2026

Following the opening remarks byMarsh CroatiaCEO Jasminka Horvat Martinović and AmCham CroatiaCEO Andrea Doko Jelušić, attendees were introduced to the 2026 Global Risks Report by Lorraine Stack, Regional Risk Management Leader for Europe at Marsh. Developed through insights from more than 1,300 global experts, the report provides leaders with strategic guidance for: 

  • Understanding current and future global risks 
  • Improving risk planning and management 
  • Identifying business opportunities and threats 
  • Strengthening organizational resilience 

The report identified the following as the top short-term risks over the next two years:

  2. Biodiversity loss and ecosystem collapse 
  3. Critical changes to Earth systems 
  4. Misinformation and disinformation 
  5. Adverse outcomes of AI technologies 
  6. Natural resource shortages 
  7. Inequality 
  8. Cyber insecurity 
  9. Societal polarization 
  10. Pollution 

Inspiration from the World Economic Forum Davos 2026

The panel was inspired by the Davos 2026 session “Navigating Uncertainty: Transforming Uncertainty into Growth”, held at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting and organized by Mercer and Oliver Wyman, emphasizing the importance of resilience and adaptive leadership in an increasingly complex global environment.
