The Paris School of Management (PSM) was pleased to welcome Ding Ronggui, PhD, Dean of the School of Management at Shandong University, for a high-level meeting focused on international academic collaboration and institutional partnership. 

This visit represents a significant milestone in PSM’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its global academic network and fostering meaningful cooperation between leading institutions across Europe and Asia. 

The School of Management (管理学院) is a prominent part of Shandong University (SDU). Shandong University is recognized as one of China’s largest, oldest, and most influential public universities, with a strong international reputation for academic excellence, research output, and global engagement. Shandong University, or SDU, is a key comprehensive university under the direct jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education, boasting a long and honorable history.   

The School of Management is the “economic management research base of Shandong province,” and thus is central to management research output, both in Shandong province, where it provides consulting services for government departments and enterprises, and in China as a whole. 

As Dean of the School of Management at Shandong University, Professor Ding Ronggui plays a central role in shaping business and management education within an institution that educates tens of thousands of students across multiple campuses. 

In addition to his role at Shandong University, Professor Ding serves as a Vice President of the International Project Management Association (IPMA), a globally respected organization dedicated to advancing project management standards, certification, and professional excellence worldwide. 

This dual leadership, spanning higher education and international professional governance, brings a valuable real-world perspective to discussions on management education, organizational performance, and leadership development.
