Originally from the Netherlands, Pim Reuderink has developed his career in the energy sector, with experience in technical management, CCUS standardisation, public speaking, and higher education. This professional background makes his academic journey at PSM closely connected to real-world industry experience.
For Pim, the academic experience was not always simple. He describes it as “a little bit like a rollercoaster,” reflecting the challenges, progress, and important moments that shaped his path.
During this journey, Pim reached several professional milestones. He became a registered European engineer and was also named a Fellow of the Institution of Gas Engineers and Managers in the United Kingdom, an achievement he describes as one of the most meaningful parts of this experience.
Connecting Academic Experience with Professional Development
For Pim, the DBA experience became part of a broader path of academic and professional growth. It allowed him to continue developing his expertise while staying closely connected to the field in which he has built his career.
